Phillies have had plenty of struggles but mostly pitching. Their 4.54 team ERA is 23rd in MLB. The biggest offensive issue has been Schwarber. He's hitting .170/.317 so far, his one saving grace has been that he's hit 12 bombs. Keeps his OPS respectable.

Harper has been red hot since coming back. He's hitting .324 with a .915 OPS in 19 games.

Trea Turner has been really bad so naturally the Braves will get him right.

I thought about mentioning that but the way he kills the Braves I figured it wouldn't matter. He's hitting .250/.297/.392. All of that would be the worst season of his career. Through 204 ABs he's managed 17 extra base hits, only 5 have been HR.

Yeah, he will rake against us the next 4 days.   I'm predicting 3 HR and 6-7 RBIs.   Hopefully I'm wrong.

Turner has played 98 games against Atlanta, 411 ABs. He's hitting .319/.363/.530, 17 HR, 51 RBI. His best numbers are all against the Braves except for average and OPS. He kills Arizona to the tune of .336 with a .985 OPS in 58 games.

Marlins losing right now. At the end of the night, everybody could be at least 6 games behind Braves.

Garrett Cooper pinch-hit HR with 2 outs in the 9th ties the game at 6 for the Marlins against the Rockies. Marlins have scored 4 runs in the 9th to tie the Rockies at 6.

Groundball somehow gets through the 5 infielders and the Rockies walkoff the Marlins 7-6. Rockies loaded the bases on 3 walks with just 1 out before they ended it on the single.

I didn't know they could do that, with the new rules. I suppose the new rules apply only to infield shifting.

Yes, you can still do the 5 infielders thing but you still can't have a player directly behind the 2nd base bag. So it was 3 infielders on one side and 2 on the other side. There were some teams in spring training that were taking one of their outfielders and putting them in that short RF rover position and basically playing with just 2 outfielders. I haven't seen anyone do that in the regular season though.
