Anyone else vaguely disappointed that the Falcons haven't signed anyone else for 36+ hours?

I don't think they'll be able to draft starters and/or Day 1 depth at all of the following positions for which there is currently a need for better players:

WR3 (Pitts is functionally the 2nd receiver, otherwise it was dumb to use the #4 pick on him)

LG - if the current roster has this player, it's someone who is taking a BIG leap forward next year

Edge rusher

DT

CB

So I hope they have a couple more signings in FA, though like others, I expect them to be depth signings.

Yeah, I expect a faw more depth FAs but cheap

WR should be able to get in round 3 or 4. As you said we're talking WR3

LG should be on the roster

Edge is a need we have no one that can play BIG DE in four man fronts. Zach Harisson or Tuipoluto in second or third

DT is DT #4 so could be cheap FA. Though I like Mazi Smith between third or fourth round

CB is likely #8

Mazi might even sneak in the 1st. Hes the clear cut #1 NT. Then again he could fall to the 3rd like what happened with Travis Jones.

Slayton might be joining soon. So that's news

Slayton is legitimately good. Got 23% of his team's receiving yards in 2022 while catching balls from Daniel Jones. Our backup receivers in Oz, Byrd, and Hodge really dropped off in production after Pitts got hurt and they couldn't essentially run free.

Expected a lull in activity. I saw where we have a rough projection of about $11M in cap space.   Usually it’s a lot of early activity, then a lull and then some value signings for depth at min contract levels.

That said, I’m surprised we haven’t picked up a FA guard.

I say this all the time. But it's something many don't want to read
