I know what they said…. But

Recommended Posts

I know what was said, but do people realize if the Falcons did decide to pursue Lamar Jackson and managed to wrestle him away from the Ravens they would have the best QB in the NFC. I mean, it’s kind of a big deal. We could instantly go from the toilet to probably the #3 team in the NFC.

You can like Ridder, but come on. Let’s get serious around here.

Brother, you do not get it, do you?

If you get him to agree on a reasonable contract, Balt matches it...

If you get him to agree on a completely absurd contract, we lose 2 1st round picks and are strapped with an absurd contract.

It doesn't make sense. Period.

Yea, give a QB who is useless without his legs, has been injured the past 2 years (from his running Vick-style of play), who has only thrown the ball more than 3000 yards ONCE in his career - give him ALL OUR MONEY, ALL OUR DRAFT PICKS ... so we can watch him play 12 games next year hurt if we're lucky.

And then Desmond Ridder becomes our QB by default anyway.

Define absurd

I dont think his demands for per year salary are absurd. I think what teams are balking at is the guaranteed money for a guy who is injury prone and plays a running style of football

I guess "absurd" is defined as any contract that Baltimore wouldn't easily and immediately match...
