We need James Bradberry and a Good Safety.

Recommended Posts

Bradberry is OK. He’d be our 2nd best CB and it wouldn’t even be close. Then again any of the top 5 DBs in the draft would be our 2nd best CB and it also wouldn’t be close. So depends on the asking price.

And yes, I’ve been screaming for a grown man safety for a while. We definitely need to find one fast.

BATES!!!!!! Still need pass rush but BATES signing is big I guess Richie Grant plays nickel now

Bates at FS as the coverage deep safety and Grant at SS as a in the box safety that can hit and offer some solid coverage. Which much better fits Grants abilities honestly.   Hawkins is the odd man out here as he should be.

Hawkins can still come in as a nickel or dime DB. I'd probably go with Hawkins over Grant but that's just me.

Since Hayward was part of the welcoming party for Bates, it is safe to say he has the starting CB job next year.

I’d assume so. He’s a solid CB2 on a good contract so I’m not disappointed by it. Just gotta stay healthy.

Saints ran more of a cover 2 shell right? Interesting to see what the plan is.
