FalconofShadows
I find it very interesting that so far we have only resigned Carter at this point especially with the cap we and the amount of FAs we have. Allot of other teams are trying to get under the cap so it makes sense other teams aren't signing their own guys right now. But I find it curious with 2 of our starting oline among other starters and depth players have resigned only 1 player and only a few days until the legal tampering period. I think instead of going after star players we are going to see allot of solid starters signed next week with depth after that. Maybe we get 1 of the bigger names but I'm thinking we will dee an influx of solid starters and solid depth to fill out this team to fill many voids in talent we have. duckhoa

ramonezy
We have the scarce commodity this offseason, cap space. There's no rush, we simply have to wait for players to shake loose from cash-strapped teams and we can get decent value for money by being patient. dyrtysouth2000, PokerSteve, FalconJim and 1 other 3

Perhaps initial signings out there are where teams tend to overpay, so it’s prudent to sit back and let’s some things unfold before going into hot pursuit of players Chitown2ATL_Falcon and FalconJim

H2O
I live near Toronto and the GM for baseball was always so quiet. The next thing you knew was a big deal coming over the wire. Smart way to play the game. gazoo, Chitown2ATL_Falcon and Vandy

Lethal
This is why I laugh at people running with the "no buzz around Ridder at the combine" stuff...TF clearly plays things VERY close to the vest and doesn't appear to leak, or allow anyone on his staff to leak, info as to what their plans are. (to be sure, I am not advocating for or against Ridder, just that silence means absolutely nothing here) Chitown2ATL_Falcon, Dirtybird56, Vandy and 8 others 8

I know I love that he does not hint any real plans. Chitown2ATL_Falcon, PokerSteve, Lethal and 1 other 1
