See how all the posters who want a QB not named Ridder are looking for every piece of possible evidence that the Falcons are looking elsewhere? All the other teams are doing the same thing, trying to figure out what the Falcons are planning to do with the 8th pick . Saying outright they aren't taking a QB in the draft is just bad business. If another team wants a QB and they think the Falcons will draft one, they may trade ahead of the Falcons and another quality defender drops for the Falcons. Or that team will pay more to convince the Falcons to part with the 8th pick. Even if there's hardly any advantage to not declaring who your QB is before the draft, there is still some advantage to doing so. No need to show your cards yet. falconidae

Fontenot said they’re going to spend in free agency but they weren’t going be reckless. Smith, Blank and Fontenot said they excited about Ridder. Fontenot also said they were adding to the QB room then directly after that said he’s sure Des will be ready to go. He also said they aren’t concerned with the outside noise.. that they have a plan and they’re sticking. I’m just reading the tea leaves.. it’s sounds like Ridder’s the guy and they’re gonna get him a competent veteran backup. OR…..not. All double talk. Rise
Too many high picks to trade. Too much money on a teams cap. I feel a lock-out or real bad strike looming soon.
