18 players who might be cut or restructured

Recommended Posts

I like Clark. I don’t see KC letting him go and I don’t see us paying what he’s worth. But maybe.

Dupree is from the Titans so…

That Matt Ryan guy looks pretty cool. Anyone got his number?  Bring him home, Terry.

I’d love Pollard. No way Dallas lets him go because he’s the best player on their offense. But bring him to the ATL anyway.

Bring him in as a coach.

Colts pretty much have to cut Ryan, or pay him a ton of money. If they cut him, He will have cost two different teams 58 mil in dead cap over two years.

If he retires, what happens capwise? Indi should try to trade him even for a 2024 7th rounder. That would save them 12mil in dead money, and give them 29mil in cap savings. That's huge compared to just dumping him and taking a 19mil cap hit. 😳

I gotta say, in hindsight, we fleeced both the Titans (JJ) and Indi.

Meaning Ryan?  Totally. Wonder if that could happen at some point.  He would be an amazing coach or position consultant. I have no idea is that’s something he would be interested in but I know he would be very good.

Yes we fleeced em, but lol at Indy getting a 7th Rd for MR2s salary. Matt is done and has been. We (our falcon front office) held on to him and JJ at least a year to long. The real value was the year before and we would really being laughing our *** off.

MR has zero value other than a back up/coaching role. But he's still the best Falcon ever IMO. JJ the quite diva is 1B or second.

He could teach the QB's how to run with a piano on their back. Dude was the best slinky/gumby folding QB I've ever seen. I don't mean that in a bad way. I thought many times he was broken in half, but his flexibility was second to Tom Brady. I loved old Mattie Ice. He won us many a games.
