Don't think that'll be the case with him but we never know. Right now everyone has their money on Carter falling. Wilson is rising and Murphy is lingering. At his size he won't even need an elite combine to stay in the top 15 celtiksage, Hashbrown3, Vandy and 1 other

PriMeTiiMe
If Stroud is there I am sorry but you have to take him. Love the compensation but I love a potential franchise QB even better. If it was anyone else I would be all for the trade down in that scenario.

But Stroud's availability is what nets the haul. I like the trade, I like round 1 pick if it would ever happen, but then the mock throws away all of round 2. But the trade would be nice otherwise. Lionzblade
How did they manage to name the only 2 positions we are solid at for our 2nd rounders? Edited February 23 by Lionzblade Herr Doktor and nutsandbolts 1

Why draft a TE at all? We have KP8 coming back, sign Pruitt, and didn't we draft the kid out of Georgia last year? So you got your unicorn, your in-line TE, and your blocking TE. nutsandbolts

So this is the time of the offseason that I love....I love when you guys start posting videos of guys that you like coming out of college. Some of them are guys that everybody knows about, and some are under-the-radar guys. That is a beautiful thing! Vandy

CraigSmackDaddy
Murphy is not gonna be available at 26. As much as I like Ridder it would be tough to pass on Stroud if he fell to 8 unless a team is giving me a ton of draft picks. Make it # 26 this year and 1sts in 2024 and 2025 and now we’re talking. It’s not like you’d expect the Giants to be drafting above # 15 any of those years.

If I'm taking a TE at 44, there is only one I'm interested in. Our running game is great, but getting a 3rd OT who can catch very well could make it best in the league. ATLFalcon36
Terrible picks. It's like he didn't even look at the depth chart or roster. We don't need a TE or RB in the 2nd (sorry GA fans).

I'm getting so used to reading "DARNELL WASHINGTON IN THE 2ND!!!" in here, when I see a TE in the 2nd it all blurred together. Yes, he'd be a great complement to Pitts.. But we need linemen and defense. Corner, safety, center, LB, WR are pretty deep and have starter quality guys in the 2nd-4th. We need to stock up with them. A 2nd TE in the 2nd round is a luxury pick for a near-complete team.

TheRisen999
Wasted Draft if we’re draft RB and TE’s in that spot and no way I’d move waaaay back to 25 and think Murphy would still be there.

Point being I think grabbing another TE weapon could help offense way more than drafting another WR. I’d rather sign a WR free agent on the cheap for that role.
