And, yeah, they're definitely getting another QB on the roster. Mariota is about to be cut, so of course they're getting another QB. Be really interesting, if Stroud or Young somehow dropped to 8, to see what the Falcons would do. Vandy

Two, Mariota deteriorated so much that Ridder became the best option. Or, Smith was really tanking for a top 10 pick.

Makes sense to me. I am certain you do not believe this. Why are you trying to sell this? Have you ever wondered how the #2 QB and #3 QB are developed? ...how they learn the offense? ...how the coaches know when they are ready? Is it your opinion that backup players stand on the sideline during practice and watch? Do you believe coaches just throw them into the game when injury forces them and just hope they know how to play? This is the dumbest thing I have read on TAFT. That is quite the accomplishment. rounz and Mr.11 1
mc
It is hard to make the call to switch qbs because you can't go back. We had a mini winning streak and we had a shot at the division.

FalconFan13
I like Ridder and am more than fine letting him start the entire year next year to see what he's got behind a better built team. But i also think Carr is a top 10 to 12 QB in the league and if he came for the right price without having to give up picks im more than ok grabbing someone like him for the next few years as well. As far as Jackson goes at QB if it were just the picks and not the 45 to 50+ guaranteed a year or if it were just the money and not the picks i wouldn't be against him. But having to give up both for Jackson would push me out on going for him. Vandy

But, oh yeah, that Jeremiah guy said something. 🙄 Imwould be really interested in seeing what Detroit was calling to offer us for that 4th pick because if it was for the 7th pick + a 2nd that year or a 1st the next year im taking that deal all day. At 7 i take micah parsons who i had as the #1 defensive player in that draft and call it a day.

I don’t know of any successful team that was so non committal to their “future starting” QB Just cause it's not out to the public doesn't mean ridder hasn't got a confirmation. Not saying he has but there is a difference in locker room info and public knowledge falconidae
