Unknøwn
Braves placed Kyle Wright on the 15 day IL and called up Nick Anderson. So as expected, Anderson gets the spot vacated by Iglesias. Wright says he's good and is happy with his progress. They just don't see a need to try to be a hero this early. He still expects to return during the second week of the season. tl;dr
Almost here!!! Expecting big things this year. Pitching should be dominant again and hopefully Rosario is better this year. I still feel Grissom will play more SS than anyone else this year ATL Fan in the DMV
VNlanta
Wow. season's almost here. Only weakness is probably the bullpen
Unknøwn
According to Bowman, Pillar and Hilliard are both expected to make the roster as extra OFs. Rotation will be Fried, Strider, Shuster, Morton, Dodd. Morton breaks up the lefties, both Shuster and Dodd are LHP.

Unknøwn
Arcia has his 3rd HR today. He will end ST on a hot streak. He finished at .341 and a 1.011 OPS. We'll see if that hot bat carries over. Olson just annihilated everything and everyone all month. He ended ST at .426 with a 1.500 OPS. Still half a game to go in ST 2023 but the regulars are out. labradford

All other pitchers and catchers report on Wednesday. The rest must report by Feb 20th. First game is Feb 25th vs Boston. Wanna unpin the offseason thread and pin this one along with the MLB thread?? You can unpin the offseason thread. I wouldn't pin the Spring Training threads because ST just ended. I'll get an MLB regular season thread going that can be pinned. labradford and Tribal Chief 1

The Kingfish
So right now the 40-man roster is at 38. They need to add 5 players (Adrianza, Chavez, Dodd, Pillar, Shuster). They can move Matzek and Ynoa to the 60-day IL to free up 2 spots. So they will have to DFA a player and try to sneak him through waivers to open one more spot. Or make a trade.
