Season ticket rant

Salesman must have mis-spoken. PSL has always been a separate price from the season tickets.

I feel stupid now - the PSL cost was so similar to the ticket cost that I confused the two. Bright side is you can you can pay the PSL down over a long period of time. I'm assuming once it's paid off you don't have to re-purchase the PSL other than yearly cost hikes?

Correct, once you pay off your PSL..you own the rights to purchase Falcons season tickets and home playoff games.  You actually have to buy tickets every year or you will forfeit your PSL. But, you can also sell your PSL if you want to at any time. Good luck!

With the way Falcons are playing and the economy, probably you won't get back your PSL price if you try to sell.

PS: I am a seasons ticket holder.

I guess the Ebeneezer Scrooge comes out in me when we talk PSL's.  The concept of having to buy the rights to then purchase tickets is just marginally insane to me.  To each his or her own though, but I just don't understand that.

Doubled down with the idea that you lose that right if you choose not to use that right and buy season tickets in any given season. That’s absurd to me.

Trouble? I usually buy mine while at the tailgate on my phone in less than 5 minutes.

We did that for the two games we went to this year. Bought the morning of and they were like $40 a pop.

Depending on the schedule, it all evens out though. For instance, single game Bears tickets were going for like $120+ in the 300's while for the Cards it was around $40. Couple years ago the Cowboys home game was going for $200+ in the 300s. If you have season tickets (mine average out to $93 per game) you're going to get both good and bad value depending.

But then again, you could also spend $0 and watch the game from your couch with free beer and no bathroom lines 😄

I broke down and bought 2 PSL’s a couple of months ago. I agree it’s ridiculous to have to buy those to get season tickets but I bought mine off the Falcons psl marketplace for $975 each when the Falcons ticket office was trying to sell me them in the same section for $2500’each.

I would need parking by the stadium.  Free food and beer.  And first dibs on any attraction hitting that stadium to include the United, and concerts.

You get free food, beer, dibs on most concerts, dibs on college football games with Harrahs  club level season tickets. Just sayin.

You get first dibs on concerts and college football games with the standard PSL as well.

I fully intend to make some money on the SECCG, Chik-fil-A kickoff game, etc.
