Also we only made it to 7 wins because genius coach finally let the young talent play The professionals in the room didn’t think he was ready, to the point that, in their professional opinion, starting would be detrimental to his promising development? quickzero
Addressing the sentiment that Ridder shouldn't have started earlier in the season because he wasn't "ready". Ridder was standing on the sidelines with no headset or clipboard all season and that in my eyes was a huge oversight and the coaches should've had him more engaged in the game, particularly the offensive play calling. That's why it took Ridder a couple of games to get into a good rhythm. Just sitting their and watching doesn't help and the film again is just him watching Mariota who wasn't very good. I think the coaches probably didn't want to throw him in earlier, especially since Mariota wasn't doing too badly; and we could put his mistakes down to rust. dirtybirds233
Drake’s body language says it all. Herbstreit’s right on the money with that missed pass to Pitts. How? How do you miss a 6’6 TE with his wingspan on a routine route? The Mariota ‘era’ will sit right next to Joey Harrington in my mind. My point was In the beginning, Mariota made some headscratchers that were put down to rust or trying to do too much. Probably the coaches thought it too He would do just enough to help us win in those earlier games (most times after putting us in a hole to begin with😒) It wasn't until later that it became evident that he wasn't going to improve, in fact he was starting to look worse, whether through injury or mental mistakes. Also, remember the rookie may not have been ready

FalconFan13
Don't care about anything Mariota did in this video. Now what i do care about is on the butt pass is i seen my boy All Gears throw that thing down in 2nd hit the gas and put on some amazing speed display. He chased down a CB from quite a bit away to save that TD if Mariota wasn't already down. That dude has some serious wheels and speed that he isn't given enough credit for. That was very very impressive to me and shouldn't go unnoticed. Drunken Minotaur Zebra and rounz 1
ItsJustMe
I cannot believe some on here we're fighting for Mariota to keep starting and delaying Ridder's debut.

From an IT / security pro: folks, make difficult to guess passwords and use at least 2-3, with each one for a specific use (IE Banking); if that's too difficult, use a password manager like iCloud.
