archanaheim
Being at this game was horrible. It was rainy and wet, and the game itself was abysmal. Made friends with a Panthers fan in the bathroom, though. Fitting enough. Emmitt, YungFalco, Diggable Birds and 10 others 7

Quick tip, always get to the bathroom about a minute before the half. If you don’t, you’ll be stuck in line for half an hour.

Diesel_Bird
Guard got bullied on the first play. But that panther game was some bad quarterbacking, no other way to put it
gazoo
It’s painful to have to recall that Thursday night, national audience embarrassment after so many here kept arguing that Mariota should remain the starter. papachaz, Bunchy Carter, PokerSteve and 3 others 5
sandtrap
The worst part isn’t how bad Mariota played. It’s that he was still the starter after this game. tbhawksfan, Swayzee, Drew4719 and 17 others 14

raysnill1
I tried to tell people the O-line wasn't as bad as they thought. Mariota had no pocket awareness what-so-ever. it seems like he was running for his life every play, whereas Ridder calmly goes through his reads and even if he gets pressured, he's still calm and is able to move just enough to where his linemen don't have to start grabbing guys to protect him Godzilla1985, gazoo, Cheap Talk and 5 others 5

Swayzee
7 hours ago, jetpac said: And yet the man started three more games 😂😂😂 He was "not ready", that is the excuse that was thrown around here. Like all the sudden the next 3 weeks running the 2nd team with NO FIRST TEAM SNAPS, got him ready for the Saints start. How about the HC, who watches these guys day in and day out, still decided that Mariota was the best choice to win games while somehow being in contention for a playoff position. This has been spun to fit so many different narratives, yet most likely the flat out truth of the situation ignored. Either in AS eyes Mariota was still the superior player or he is a terrible evaluator of talent at the QB position. The latter makes no sense because of his track record with guys like Tannehill. So what is it? Edited January 14 by Swayzee Bunchy Carter, NCFalconfan, falconsd56 and 2 others 1 2

So what is it? Third option — this is dumb. They were prepping Ridder all season. They had a plan. It likely included using the bye to make the transition. Literally everyone knows this. Pretending it’s preposterous is a bad look. Vandy, celtiksage and FalconJim
