London and Ridder definitely had better chemistry than London and Mariota. They were dudes from the moment they were introduced in rookie OTAs. The offseason will result in them being even better together and I'm betting Pitts is happy to move on as well.

Reminded me of the Jests, where Garrett Wilson played well to start the season until Zach Wilson got healthy and didn't bother to track him. Then, that Wilson screwed the pooch and Mike White and Flacco seemed to find the other Wilson again. I'll bet some receivers hate playing with certain QBs.

about the only thing TCM had chemistry with is the turf, almost like he was intent on getting enough on his uni he could perform experiments with it later after the game, esp with the butt area after he threw an INT

:D

Just imagine if Drake had someone to get him the ball all season

Just imagine if we won the two games the winning drive was in the process when he allowed the ball to be fumbled...we'd be in the playoffs. Maybe?

On stats alone Garret was pretty far ahead of London. More 1st downs, a lot more yards and higher yards per touch. I’m not surprised with this given how much fantasy and the league as a whole are data driven.

If you look objectively London is better as a whole on percentages but Wilson had more opportunities.

I love Wilson and take nothing away from him. London may have a better future though.

Imagine if Wilson did?

His QB situation was just as bad, possibly worse. Zach Wilson's garbage ***, flacco and Mike white all jumbled thru the season.

Olaves wasnt much better either. Flipping between Winston and Dalton.

I remember watching the Jests early in the season and Wilson was finding his groove under Flacco when Zach Wilson returned. The next few games, he barely seemed to get targeted. I dropped him from my fantasy team because of it. I'm thinking Saleh must have put his thumb on the scale and insisted both White and Wilson utilize him. Zach Wilson takes a lot of flak and deserves it. His inability to find a guy that two other QBs fed heavily should be one of the main reasons for it.

I know another quarterback who didn’t track his best receivers.

I think by week 2 we’ll know if Smith has a HC job in 2024. Make it an immediate demand to target London and Pitts, whoever the QB is. If Smith doesn’t carve that into the table by game 2 he won’t be here. And I think he knows that.

And you just put focus on why fans shouldn't assume good QBs are easy to acquire. Zach Wilson was the second overall pick in the season many of us wanted a QB@4 and he's a bum. We might not have a Matt Ryan-level QB in the next 20 years and many of my fellow babies were kicking dirt on him at the height of his time with us.

Be careful of what you wish for.

I think we'll see it happen. I believe Arthur came into 2022 knowing it was a developmental season. The pressure's officially on him in 2023 to show that he knows what he's doing with a team that underwent that development and (presumably) added a **** ton of roster help.

Arthur was blessed with a competitive team and a weak division because the pain of tanking for a year was eased significantly. We were distracted too much to notice that it was doomed from the start.
