I really want CP to go back to that Swiss army knife role.

It really opens up the offense for everyone else. I think he should see a lot more snaps in the slot. If we get a WR2 and push OZ to that #4 WR role we will be in great shape. Especially if we become more balanced and not so run heavy. I’ve been tellin everyone around me all year. 2023 we are gonna be dangerous. No matter if it’s a Vet qb Ridder or a rookie (which I don’t think will happen). We’re knockin folks heads off next year. Hopefully we start to bully the division.

He could have been used a different way this year but was not. About mid-season it was 100% crystal clear that Allgeiers was the lead back, yet zero creativity with Patterson in year 2 was a huge disappointment.

I agree, I think our offense this year was designed around him being a running back, and no so much that Swiss Army knife. Hopefully next year we see him catch the ball more.

Looks like there's a very good chance he's gonna end up leading all rookies in rush yards. He was 99 ahead of Walker in Seattle, who currently only has 68 and the Seahawks are down in the 4th with 3 mins and change left.

Check that, he's up to 80... 2 mins left. Hopefully they score here and the Rams run the clock low enough for the Seahawks to kneel it out. Please no OT, 😂

Does rushing for 1000 yards still mean anything these days?

I think so...for a while it didn't seem to matter, but since a lot of teams do the "running back by committee" and the NFL wanting to be more pass-heavy, I think meaning has come back to it.

All-gears, Stormin Mormon, Iove this guy!  Great season TA!

Interesting fact that some here may not know: While he did attend BYU, he is actually not a Mormon.

"Although the Allgeiers are not members of the faith that sponsors BYU, The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Tyler “fit right in” and never had a problem adhering to the school’s honor code or taking religion classes because they aligned with what he was taught growing up."

I think when you realize this, and understand that he paid his own way through college for a large portion of his time there, it speaks volumes about his character as a man.

Hearing his story about working at Wal-Mart truly does show the man's character...quite impressive.
