Tell that to Tyler Linderbaum. He has 31 1/8” arms and is an absolute stud. Already considered one of the best centers in the NFL as a rookie.

it may be more critical with tackles than interior OL, but responding to the comment of no OL w/ short arms.

Exceptions not the rule. You can also say rashawn slater (33") I'll help you out because there aren't many who have short arms and excel in run and pass blocking.

The list is way longer the other way around. It's one of the reasons we haven't had a oline that can run and pass block for so long. For some reason we keep choosing tackles/guards with average to short arms.

I mean...

Are we already calling for WRs 😂😂😂 usually it's not until after the season and combine until we go from "we need pass rushers" to " we need pass catchers"

Will falcons ever learn? I'm doubting it at this point

Been great in run game but awful in pass pro.  He has allowed second most pressure led amongst centers while only having the 17th most pass snaps.  He’s a rookie so it could get cleaned up, but he still has his opportunities.

Sounds like Dalman this year.

As far as factually inaccurate posts go, this one is pretty high on the list. The Bengals took a WR with Sewell on the board, and everybody screamed about it their whole way to the Super Bowl.

The Bengals are a consistently good football team? We will have to agree to disagree on that one friend

True but then he quit. And if you remember, he got 6 or 7 of those in one game against an OT for Denver who sucked so bad that we picked him up a year or so later so he could suck for us too.

Oh yes. All of that happened

Shroud won’t be there past 3

Can't say i agree with that i think he goes #5 to Indy.   I've got Young going to Houston,  Anderson and Carter going to Bears and Seattle, then  Kyler is already on the Cards.      Indy is probably best shot for him to go in the top 5 at this point.

Strange how BPA for consistently good teams is usually never WR 🤔

There's no consistency here. The Eagles for instance have invested heavily into WR in the draft over the past 10 years, including 2 first round picks in '20 and '21. The Ravens have used 4 first round picks on pass catchers as a whole in the last 7 years.

There are some teams like the Steelers and Packers who prefer 2nd round prospects, but an argument can be made that the better WR prospects in the first are usually gone, so you'll find lower valued positions(off ball LB's, RB's, NT's, DT's) or players with question marks start to take priority.

The reality is, consistently good teams just draft well in general and manage free agency.

The eagles have a foundation and the luxury of having a top oline and dline for many years.

When our team isn't 30 sacks behind the next worse sack producing team on the league in the last two year span, by all means start choosing skill positions.

they wasnt before that chase pick

Talking about this is so hopeless with falcons fans. I thought after the last 6 years maybe you'd get it. Let's continue to enjoy all of the success we've had the last 60+ years by continuing to do what the falcons have always done... by all means.

Chase has been hurt this entire year. 2 years is not consistently. 5, 10, 15 years is. Funny how all of those teams are at the top of the league in sacks and oline. Maybe I'm wrong (I'm not)

im not sure what youre talking about? the bengals have been bad up until last year im not saying they are good cuz of chase im saying the team hasnt been good until the year they picked chase in. they grew with young talent on offense and defense. i hope youre not thinking i believe chase is the reason theyre good cuz thats not what i meant.

Yup, and they still wouldn’t be if not for that Burrow pick.

a collection of talent made then a better team both on defense and offense. we need to do the same but especially on defense. i wasnt saying chase is the reason theyre good i was simply answering the question the bengals wasnt a good team up until the draft class last year

That's not what you were saying though. The Eagles draft every position if it's either what they need or they feel is the BPA. They passed on Micah Parsons to pick DeVonta Smith. They could've taken Rashawn Slater after giving up 65 sacks in 2020, but they didn't.
