xskyx
If.. big if.. Oakland moves on from Carr after this season, would you hate kicking the tires on him in a prove it deal? He hasn't looked great in a while but he's did well in the past and isn't exactly old for a QB. He'll likely be cut rather than traded, so no draft pick trading necessary. Just something to think about. Falcons Fan MVP, Knight of God and jidady 1
CraigSmackDaddy
I’d be down for the right $ but I think someone, maybe the Texans, pays him more than we’d be willing to. Herr Doktor, PokerSteve, Emmitt and 1 other 3
DonDaLuvMaker
As a backup.....sure. But he's not going to be some starter that you can expect to put the team on his shoulders when it matters because he's proven time and time again he hasn't been able to do that with the Raiders. Blitz28179
No thanks and I think if carr found out he's going to be a backup he wouldn't want to come here. In my opinion signing carr means the staff is giving up on Riddler too fast Tribal Chief

TheUsualStuff
If he was willing to be a backup and be paid like one, sure. I've read much worse ideas here. We just have too many other needs to be wasting much salary capital on him, and I think he will command way too much in that regard. Rings
People hated Ryan for how much he lacked mobility. Then we don’t like mobility cause Mariota couldn’t throw? So now we have come back full circle to someone who can’t throw as accurate as Ryan and still not mobile. Makes sense. Carr actually has decent mobility. He just doesn’t use it for some reason lol.
Jesus
Josh McDaniels is the Taylor Swift of the NFL. He assumes it must be the QB but really it's him. Vandy, VTCrunkler, FalconDawg28 and 2 others 2

Falcons Fan MVP
I was going to do a thread on this but I was afraid it would get a lot of criticism. I'd be okay with it especially if he brings Adams with him. Vandy and Norwood all the way!

Lornoth
I actually like Carr. I don't think people realize how badly put together the Raiders have been in every way. I think he could be successful somewhere. Probably not here, but I hope he lands somewhere good. etherdome
Isn't Tannehill the ideal choice? He was successful running AS's scheme. He will likely be a FA in the off season and not be an expensive hire. At his age, he would not be a major threat to Ridder, instead, he would be the perfect mentor. And, if Ridder gets hurt, he is probably the best guy to step in and run the offense in his absence.
