Sad fact is, there just isn't more in FA. And if there is, the Falcons won't be the only bidders. OL , solid OL, is a scarce commodity.

The Falcons have many issues on the team, RT just isn't a glaring one.

As far as bidding, the good news is…. ONLY the Bears have a built in advantage to do that and I am not even sure if they are in the market for a RT.

I see us finding an Upgrade more than not.

Do you really want to commit long term to overpaying for a tackle who can't pass block? The one dimensional offense isn't fooling anyone.

If the Falcons are ever going to get better they must field better players.

To be fair to McGary, our biggest problems on OL are on the interior.

We need a new center and LG more than we need a new RT

Yeah he can.

He is not near as bad as people think

He is bad. He's also having his "best" year in a contract year. Huge red flag. If the team is going to get better it needs better players. It also needs players who show up all the time. Not just when they want to get paid. Sign him, overpay him. Then wonder why the team always sucks and has no money.

He is just doing what he has done all of his short career.

Get better in his second season in a new system.

He gave up 4 sacks in over 600 pass attempts in 2020. After giving up 9 as a rookie.

For those of you that want to get rid of Mcgary. Do you all have a replacement that can do this at min?

Problem is, we’re bad at pass blocking and he’s not a big help in that regard. But I’d keep him… (Franchise tag maybe).

Yup. He’s not “bad” at pass blocking, just not great. But he is great as a mauling run blocking RT, which fits AS run-heavy scheme.
