I counter this point with the fact that our sos is one of the top 5 easiest in the nfl....

You are assuming I was making a point. I was stating a fact and leaving the interpretation up to the reader, and I clearly stated that.

I agree our SOS was easy... completely valid comment.

Simply giving everybody a little more context. I wasn't assuming you meant anything specific by your comment

That is litterally what I was going to say.

The only good healthy team that we have played was Cincy.

The niners are good but their entire defense essentially was out, and we got lucky with multiple deep drops by their receivers.

Everyone else has sucked and we 1-3 vs the Panthers and Saints and both of those offenses are lacking in any sort of star power or "talent".

Tampa has good players but Brady is a shell of himself and they are a mess in the FO.

Seattle has turned into a pumpkin,

The browns were missing their entire starting Dline and their best linebacker, and they have been a disaster as a whole

The Bears have Fields running and.....that is it.They suck.

The ravens are good but we're missing Jackson and several other players.

The rams got were hurt and bad all year.

The only reason that we look better this year is because we essentially have been the thinnest kid at fat camp...and we are still 5 games under .500

Something that I don't see talked about much is the fact that our cap hades situation was not just something that happened to us. We did it to ourselves. TD and DQ are gone, but the people above them that allowed it to happen are still here

My next observation is that the players the new regime have brought in the last two years have not shown much. Lack of cap space does not contribute to our draft picks looking bad.

As I said before; we signed Carter and used a socond and a third on pass rushers... The result is SOS

Yannick Ngakoue, Daron Payne, CGJ. Draft Tyree Wilson. You'll have your pass rush

If we can't get Payne, snag Hargrave. He's a bit older but every bit as productive.

Not a huge fan of Yannick due to how much he is going to want and the fact he simply cannot play everydown due to how bad he is against the run but his pass rush help sure would be nice.

Can't see the Eagles letting CGJ walk. He was so big for their defense prior to getting hurt. Next best thing is Bates but I don't know if he is worth the money either.

Not saying this is a solution, but if the return could be a topnotch DE wouldn't we have to ar least consider it?

Maybe DAL would trade Micah Parsons for him. 😆

seriously though, you aren’t going to get as good of a pass rusher for him just due to positional value of a TE vs a pass rusher. Guys gonna either be older, have a bloated contract or not as good as Pitts. For draft picks, I think a first round pick is feasible, but not nearly as high of a pick as TF used to select him. The value isn’t there in trading him.

Not happening unless Pitts demands his way out. We already don't have enough weapons. Pitts in a legit offense with a legit QB is a scary thing. We saw a glimpse of it his rookie year.

Whatever, the point isn't who. It's what. There are ways to increase a pass rush. $74 mil.
