I would not plan on trading him, but if he walks into my office and asks to be traded, I would comply.  And I would look for the best landing spot for him.  Business is business, but the way this man has toiled for the franchise, heck, he deserves the honor of choosing his destiny.

No. If the time come to trade Grady the Falcons need to get the best possible offer. The Falcons need to win at football, not miss congeaneality contests. Grady has been treated well and well paid; that is all that he is owed

Interesting. Both Total Offense, AND Total Defense.... are bottom 5 in the NFL. https://www.espn.com/nfl/stats/team/_/view/defense

So how can anyone point fingers ?? From game to game take turns, sucking... on Offense the "scapegoat" was Mariota. Blame QB for everything... But who gets benched on Defense, then ? I'd agree with Grady - a Defensive End is our #1 Need in this year's Draft.  🤨  But do ya hear, a few idiots yelling "Draft a QB" after Smith has blinked now and fired the veteran QB ? 🎅

19, 19, 21, 17

That’s what the D has given up over the last 4 games. We’re 0-4. If our offense can’t finish drives or goes 3 and out over and over again, the defense is going to give up yards. I can’t believe they haven’t given up more scores with the terrible field position they’ve had to deal with. Our Red Zone defense has drastically improved as well.

We’ve given up 19 per game over the last 4 games. That is top 5 in the entire league. It’s the first year our defense has kept us in games. They’re not perfect, but they’re heading in the right direction.

13, 16, 18, 9. Our points on offense the past 4 games. Nuff said.

I love me some Grady, but I can't believe he still thought we could get in or deserved to get in the playoffs after going 1-6 down the stretch.

Any competitor would. In the mind of an athlete, you are absolutely in it until your mathematically eliminated. Now granted, we have been realistically out for weeks, but as long as there is a chance a true athlete will not/should change their mindset.

He took the $$ last offseason and knew exactly what the team was when he did.

Thank you, well said. Grady knew we weren't the cheifs when he signed. Still, I understand his frustration when the d does its job and the o fumbles, throws, or basically pisses away the game.

Did someone forget to tell Grady that it's okay because we were only expected to win 4 games anyway?

I so love the people that throw that at those of us who complain about the lack of a single win in over a month now. Once we got to 4 wins we should have had our parade. Gtfooh.

Using their logic, how many wins were predicted for the 2016 team? I guess since so few predicted we would make or do well in the playoffs, I have no business being forever pissed that we blew a Super Bowl win.

It is the same people who mocked those that were really pissed about the Super Bowl fiasco. That's what being a Falcon's fan does to a lot of folk, I suppose.  "Success" for the Falcons in many fans eyes is just performing a better than the preseason ESPN predictions.
