YouTube TV gets Sunday Ticket

No this isn’t Falcons related directly, but a lot of us do live out of market and will affect how we watch the games moving forward.  Think it’s a big win personally, cheaper than DirecTV.  Excited to see the details.  Anyone have YouTube TV and able to share their experience with it for those of us who may make the switch next year?

I know they will never do it but if they found a way to offer single team packages it would sell so much more. NBA and MLB does it I don't understand why we can't have this for the NFL.

Think it’s more likely with YouTube than DirecTV, but I’m still not holding my breath.

I wanted Apple TV to get that package. It would have been the best VISUAL AND ANALYTICAL presentation of football on TV.  What Apple has done with their MLB coverage is proof of that. Apple wanted the NFL to let consumers pay for the entire package OR just a team. For instance,  if you wanted just Tampa Bay, they wanted you to be able to purchase Tampa Bay at a separate lower price. The NFL wanted them to keep it as one package because they don't want CBS, Fox or NBC to have that kind of competition. This enables them to get more money from those networks.. The NFL is about PURE GREED. They could care less about the consumer.

Ive been using youtube tv for about 5 years now. Its great! I was at my parents house for thanksgiving and for some reason we didn’t get the Hawks game on directTv so we used my youtubeTv account snd my dad asked if it was 4k because it looked better. Nope it was only 1080p because im not paying for 4k for like 10 channels.

The biggest downsides are they need to update their bandwidth big time for NFL Sunday ticket. During big events like the Superbowl and College Football Championships they can be slow and laggy, and I have gigabit internet, 1020mgbs down and 250 mgbs up, so I shouldn’t have any problems. Also they keep price hiking and I see a big one with this accusation.

Its wayyy better than the ****ty Sunday Ticket app I use.

I’ve had YouTube TV for over a year and enjoy it. Curious how they’re going to add it in, I’d love to be able to purchase the Falcon’s streams only but I know they won’t do that, at least not initially.

The NFL turned Apple down because thats what they wanted to do. So its not happening this contract cycle at minimum.

I would upgrade to the 4k myself but it’s only a handful of channels and not for every game.

That said Google has the cloud powers to make this work well. The question is what about NFL +  and the suckers who spent money on that?

Yeah nfl plus is a headache app wise. Its monthly though. After the season im done with it.

NGL. At the bare minimum, just get 4k for the month of the playoffs including the super bowl. I did the trial and it was gorgeous

There used to be a „follow your team“ option for gamepass in Europe. Unfortunately not anymore.

They do a free trial? I didn’t even know. Ill check it out for the superbowl. Watching real 4k stuff on my oled is just so good. My daughter loves watching Moana on YouTube. She finally is old enough to watch the whole thing on Disney + and good lord the difference.

They had one when it was first out. Not sure about not. Check it and see when you can
