Think that's a mistake, think he'd be better served to stay in school for another year.

I hope he shows out at the combine and some team drafts him in the top 10, lets another OL or DL stud slide down to the Falcons.

From what I read the NFL guys think it's a mistake too. They thought he'd be a sure fire at the beginning of the year but by the end apparently most scouts thought he needed 1 more year in college.

I see that, but I think he is making a good decision. Once he puts another year of tape out there, people will realize he actually sucks and he won’t go anywhere near the first

From what I've read his run to the draft will be the deciding factor. Some scouts believe if he has good workouts he could be a top 16 pick. They say if he doesn't impress in workouts with the tape he has then he's probably a 2nd or 3rd round pick.

Bijan just won the Doak Walker Award. 
Over 1,500 rush yards, almost 2,400 total, 20 touchdowns.  Not a bad year. 
I know we don’t like Big12 athletes but dang, have a look at least.

If the Falcons had a complete team, with solid lines a competent QB and no gaping hole to fill [Edge rusher anyone?], sure, use a top ten pick on a RB, but no thanks. Just can't see that makes any sense for the current team.

Falcons drafted a catching tight end who is notoriously a terrible blocker and used him almost exclusively as a run blocker. And a premier wide receiver who’s on pace to make maybe 60 catches this year. 
 

So it’s not relevant to say what we “need” in draft because nobody really knows what we’re going to get. 
 

Also the Falcons have a pretty solid bias to not draft from the Big12.  
 

So as I’ve said in other posts, I know we won’t be looking at him. And I also know he’ll make light work of our defense. He’s the best RB in about a decade. He won’t be a Falcon but that won’t stop me from wanting a “wins in a box” piece.

If he's truly the best player available, I don't see why they wouldn't take him. We don't draft for need anymore.

I'm sure they got some extra money to play in the game along with higher insurance coverage. Saban said they were taking all steps to protect the two players. Young has already reportedly earned $3M from NIL money.

As unknown said they got some money to play in the bowl game and are protected, but both are going to the NFL.  They will most likely be top 5 picks or top 10 for young depending on his measurables.  Alabama fans who think they are staying because they love bama are just hilarious.  You would be surprised how many bama fans on their boards think they are both coming back..

Yep, Bryce Young, Jalen Carter, and Anderson will almost definitely be the top 3 picks in the draft. Stroud isn't in that conversation IMO. 

Bryce Young will be a top 2 draft pick, and more likely to be 1st overall than 2nd. The only player I can see going ahead of him is Jalen Carter who is clearly a better player, but the QB position holds so much additional value. 

Young is the best QB prospect in several years, size limitations included in that evaluation. He's the only reason Bama was dangerous on offense at all this year. And if he were 6'3"+ he'd be talked about as the best QB prospect since Andrew Luck most likely. I'll put it this way, if he and Trevor Lawrence were coming out in the same draft I'd have a very very hard time taking Lawrence over Young, and probably wouldn't.

Nah Saban usually tells people in their position to go pro. I’m assuming that’s what he is telling Bryce and Anderson

Saw an interesting stat that in the 4th quarter of games this year, Bryce never left the field with his team not winning. Whenever he had to, he answered the bell late in games. He was banged up this year, but with the exception of one game in his career, he has ALWAYS been clutch. 

Id LOVE Bryce as a Falcon, but I kinda want to see what we have in Ridder. We took him early enough to where he should get at least next year

Eli Ricks could make himself A TON of money if he stays. Brian Branch should probably go pro though. Don’t see a S really improving his value much

He just landed a Porsche NIL deal since the end of the season. He’s a good guy from a great family here and I wish him well. But given his size I know some teams won’t look at him and I think he would have been better off with another year of monster stats.
