This is the Mariota I want to see tomorrow

I know it is highlights, but this is a better version of Mariota than I have seen in a Falcon uniform.

That being said, it was the best the defense looked the entire year and against a relatively healthy SF offense, so I'm not going to discount what they did, and how it impacted the win. But, anyone thinks that Mariota day was not impacted by the entire SF being out, is silly.

I would love it, but MM1 plays pretty good in MBS. This is the first year in a while we have a good record at home. We're 4-2 at home and 1-5 away. I predict we spank the Steelers and we push this problem down the road a week.

If MM1 manages to play poorly today at home, we may see a switch though.

EDIT: Further MM1 motivation is that our bye week is coming up. That probably means we see a great game out of the Falcons and MM1 today. If not, the setup is pretty good for a change.

It’s amazing many of the same people discounting Ridders preseason play due to him playing against the oppositions backups with our backup OL, WRs TEs ,RBs are praising Mariota after he played the 49ers backups with our starting OL,WRs,TEs,RBs.

Also we've regressed since that game. That bubble of optimistic naivety burst last month. Other than squeaking by the pathetic Bears, we've shown we still don't have any idea how to win close games. Hopefully when we record this L we'll at least look like a team on the rise rather than one still wallowing around lost in the sewer.

I'm not sure what we have in Ridder, so I won't go as far as you confidence wise. However, it is crystal clear what Mariota is and I want gone expeditiously!

Mariota has made Great plays and he has played Good games. Just not consistently. 
 

When I say he sucks, what I mean is he doesn’t consistently play well enough to help the team win. 
 

But he is definitely capable of a top 20 game. I just wish he’d have 12 instead of 2. 
 

I think it’s mental. He loses concentration and makes goofy mistakes and then has no confidence for the rest of the game. 
 

But he is absolutely capable of doing well. Why not today?
