He hit his lineman in the head with the football. Ran into his own lineman Mark Sanchez like minus the fumble.

But man he was running that thang

that one throw on the sideline to Montgomery was a beauty though. Probably his best pass of the day

That was a nice pass.   It’s the other 21 that were the problem

People need to stop watching highlight plays on Sport Center and actually watch games.  This is who Justin Fields is.  90% of his high light plays are of his rushing ability, not passing.  There is a reason for that.  No, we shouldn’t have drafted him.  He holds the ball forever.  When’s the last game we had four sacks in a game?  Oh, and he’s mobile?  Thought that was supposed to prevent sacks?

Ryan at 37 years old took 3 sacks behind an awful oline against the Eagles d-line, one of the best in the league.  Fields took 4 against one of the worst today.  Let that sink in.  In fact can we put this stupid theory to bed?

Being a mobile QB does not help with the amount of sacks taken.

So what does Matt Ryan have to do with your critiquing of Fields again? Prior to the season all the talk on here was how Matt would play lights out behind the colts monster O line. So far he's looked no different than when he was here. Let's also not forget that Chicago has an awful offensive line as well which would explain most of his runs.

He ran around like a dog after a bath. He literally ran himself tired by the end of the game.

Exactly

Fields was having a cardio workout against one of the worst defenses in the NFL and still took an L.

He had throws batted by defenders and hit off the helmet of his own o-linemen.

Because people say that we only had a lot of sacks because Ryan was a statue and if only we had a mobile QB that would all be fixed.  That’s why.

We have a Mobile QB who looks far better than what we got out of Matt. And don't forget how Fields is literally on his second HC learning a new system in his second year.

I thought the same... A lot of our sacks were due to poor field and pocket awareness by Fields...

Fields is too one dimensional most of the game.

Yo @Spts1 done with Fields as your profile pic?

Fields stats for the Falcons game:

14/21 - 153yds,  1 TD, 1 Int(at games end), sacked 4 times by the AWESOME falcons passrush - 84.0 QB rating

18 rushes, 85 yards

terrible OLine (again, Falcons had 4 sacks)

Weapons:   David Montgomery(RB), Mooney(top WR), What's an Equanimeous?(WR) and Cole Kmet

Fields is doing it all w/o talent around him - they have $100mm in cap room next year - he is playing well the last several games, played well in this game as well.    However don't let facts get in the way of a post.
