Falcons Fan MVP
It's going to be an emotional day and week for the Commanders as they remember Sean Taylor. They will probably dedicate the home game against the Falcons to Sean Taylor. I don't see us winning this game. Commanders gonna be extra fired up. I've seen these types of games before. octoslash
No disrespect to the memory of Taylor or to anyone else but is there anyone left in the Skins organization after 15 years who really cares about that enough that it would be a motivation to play better football? opensource001, Falcons Fan MVP, Skeetbird and 2 others 3
Atlantafan21
Does that mean the Commanders will be playing 10 defenders the entire game in honor of Taylor? Falcons Fan MVP

PokerSteve
They didn't need an anniversary memorial to hand the Eagles their first loss in Philadelphia's house this week. Hard to see us winning. They're trending up and we're Falconing downward in a steep, feathery death spiral. Killing Floor
Sad anniversary. RIP And also they’re gonna start Wentz so I like our chances.

ryanadonis
Dont expect much winning the rest of this year. I think we might tank for a QB and a new coaching staff
FalconAge
I think you should have gone ahead and put "Murder" in the thread title. With Takeoff, those three UVA athletes, etc. we can't sugarcoat what is happening in the community. It's sickening and makes you feel utterly helpless
Falcons_Frenzy
Sean Taylor was the man. I wanted him to be a Falcon so bad. RIP. Falcons Fan MVP

PriMeTiiMe
Wow had no idea. I'll be at the game & Was also at the game when they played the Bills after ST's death and man were emotions high that afternoon. Went with a bunch of diehard Redskin fans and the stadium was filled with tears. Obviously not a Redskin/commanders fan but ST just held a special place in every football fans heart. Played it like he was a kid and everyone could respect him and love him for it. Never forget going to bed the night before he passed and the news was good that he was improving and getting better. To wake up that next morning to hear he had passed in the middle of the night. Awful. Falcons Fan MVP

You probably said something similar after the Panthers traded McCaffery, named their 4th string QB the starter, fired their head coach, got demolished by the Bengals, etc.

After a loss I try to flush out any vinegar by Tuesday. Don’t want to be in the gutter longer than that. Now it’s on, looking forward to game day. Let’s Go. I still believe we can beat any team on our calendar. When we play like we did v Niners we can surely best Washington. Go Falcons

Mr.11
This is why I'm not really mad at Calvin Ridley. Sean Taylor died in the aftermath of a home robbery turned deadly. Falcons Fan MVP

Maybe so, but I had to look Taylor up to refresh my memory. The "Washington Football Team" retired Taylor's number in a pre-game ceremony last season on Oct. 17, 2021. The "Football Team" still got stomped by the visiting Kansas City Chiefs 31-13. Falcons Fan MVP
TheUsualStuff
Not to be disrespectful, but unless someone on the Falcons pulled the trigger, I don't see this as offering some sort of extra motivation for them. This is just a piece of trivia. Falcons Fan MVP
