Can't think of one either lol

...... Udoka???? Lol

I may have one in a few weeks.

Kenny Atkinson

Ryan Bowen

Brad Stevens

Jay Wright

Those last two are a bit out of left field, and who knows if either of them is even interested in coaching again. But I believe the first two are very good coaches who would take the job if offered.

Brad Stevens would be awesome because it hurts the Celtics. Not sure if he wants to leave his comfy President job to coach again though.

Tonight was a tip your hat to the other guy type of night.

With that said, we have got to keep moving towards being more comfortable on both ends.

We missed WAY TOO MANY good looks and we’re out of sorts of defense to win a game like last night.

With all that said, the next time shooting forty threes to win a championship a game is sustainable will be the first time.

I know some will say how, but you have to remember, they DID let us back in the game a couple of times shooting like that. We just couldn’t make the NEXT big shot or get the NEXT stop to make it stick.

DJM is very good, but I don't like his style of play in the modern NBA. His midrange game is great, but we have a team that needs free throw opportunities in order to keep up in games. He needs to be driving to the bucket and creating contact to put the other team in foul trouble and put us in the bonus so Trae can do what he's always done. Foul bait.

I hear you bro but there has to be more accountability.  Guys are just too  easy to say we had a bad shooting night well don’t let them have a great shooting night.  It’s hard for me to adjust to today’s game because when I played I gave effort on both ends!

Yeah, this goes back to when I said this team as it is currently made, is not going to be Great defensive team from beginning to end of game.

They tend to feed off of their Offense for Defense and that isn’t the stuff of great defensive teams makeup.

I am basing my statement purely on the personal we have.

With all of that said, and with that being how this team operates, WE MUST be more consistent on the Offensive end by moving the ball around, taking the ball to the cup(not settling) and putting more pressure on the entire defenses we go up against!

Wait, please don't tell me the final score of the Celtics beating up on the Hawks in Atlanta was 126-101!?

OF COURSE on national television a Boston team wins on the road against an Atlanta team by 25 points! WOW!!!

Anyways, thankfully it's still early in the season for the Hawks, but being last in the league in 3 point shooting percentage is very concerning. Hopefully that changes as the season goes on, but who knows? Better to get hot later than earlier.

Celtics hit so many 3s you would've thought they were the prime Warriors lol

On a side note, Tatum was pretty much a none factor most of the game outside of his passing.

I still think MOST NIGHTS that’s the way to go with that team but dog on it, can we chase someone off the three point line!?

I still contend last night was much more of a case of good offense than bad defense. The Celtics had great ball movement but also nailed a lot of contested looks. No matter how good of defense you play, it's unrealistic to think you can block or alter every shot, and if the other team is making 20+ threes, it's going to be an uphill battle... especially when you're hitting like 20% on the other end. Winning in the NBA in general is very difficult when your opponent makes 10+ more three-pointers than you, and it's going to happen to every team a handful of times.

JC, Hunter, and DJM are all genuinely good defenders right now, Capela is arguably a great defender, and Okongwu may play better defense against Giannis than any player in the league does. The Holiday brothers are solid defenders, while JJ and AJ make some good plays but also some youthful mistakes. The only true weak link in the defense is Trae, and even his defense has gotten at least marginally better.

Even after last night, we're 12th in the NBA in defensive rating. That's up from 27th last year, and I think a reasonable range for us to be in if we want to compete with the upper echelon of the league.

I'm more concerned about the offense, which still lacks any creativity and seems almost entirely dependent on Trae and Dejounte making individual plays under loose structure, or outside of structure entirely.

When you are not making open jump shots then you attack the basket.  You can draw fouls get to the free throw line and can potentially develop a rhythm to start knocking down outside shots.  Boston showed plenty of spacing hence the reason why they had open 3s!

Unfortunately the refs are swallowing their whistles for the Hawks, we are close to the bottom in attempts and it's not like we aren't driving the ball.

Total Freethrows so far:

Hawks 24, Rockets 15
Hawks 16, Magic 30
Hawks 28, Hornets 30
Hawks 25, Pistons 22
Hawks 18, Pistons 38
Hawks 25, Raptors 40
Hawks 15, Bucks 29
Hawks 16, Knicks 20
Hawks 25, Pelicans 28
Hawks 17, Bucks 16
Hawks 11, Jazz 24
Hawks 23, Sixers 30
Hawks 27, Sixers 31
Hawks 30, Bucks 41
Hawks 13, Celtics 10

Nate's defensive game plan was atrocious. The Celtics are a 3pt shooting team, while Nate's defense is to stop penetration 1st then try and get too shooters. He didn't adjust.
