I AM a Falcon fan from the germ of the idea in Rankin Smith's thinking, from the beginning.    However, the early years were SAD.   I should say that, though I think I am a fan, I have not been a paying fan since moving to Japan in 1992, so how much influence should I have?  I remember Erie Wheelwright kicking dust when the old Atlanta-Fulton County Stadium found getting turf on the knocked-down pitchers mound too difficult.  I remember Tommy Nobis scoring a touchdown off of an interception from his linebacker position against the Vikings.   So I go back more years than most, but   ...

I do not like FALCONs throwback uniforms.      I do very much like the red hats (the new but old throwback helmets).    The modern uniform has black jerseys with white pants, so you don't need that colour combination for a throwback. Whoever might be in charge of the fashion statement should consider just one all-white uniform with red helmets.  Throw it back only to 1977.

Do you still live in Japan?

Also how in the heck do you find Falcons games to watch in Japan?
