Does this mean Ryan is done?

If so the Falcons need to give him a job. Too bad Shock does such a good job reviewing film so that isn't an option.

I see Matt doing commentary for games or on some pregame/postgame TV show.

Unless his wife tells him to hang it up and take care of the cubes. Unless he wants to be like Brady 😂

Colts are 3-3-1 and just traded for this former MVP to try and put them over the top and they’re willing to move on this quickly to an unproven 6th rd pick.

we have a struggling, never really successful vet QB we didn’t give up anything for and have a highly thought of rookie sitting behind him. No move as of yet.

very interesting.

One teams coach is on the hot seat and barring a miracle rest of the season is getting fired. The other teams coach is comfortable and knows he will be back next year

Colts had to do something and this is a go for broke move. Either it saves his job or it cements his firing.

He leads the league in interceptions ….,

Can’t take everything at face value

How is he playing , his decision making, his reads, mechanics etc

Sorry, he's got 12M guaranteed next season. He isn't going to willingly leave the Colts.
They're going to have to cut him and take on 18M in dead cap.

And that is exactly what they will do.

Who was the last 12 million dollar backup?

Why would Ryan pick to be a falcon film reviewer?

He’ll be on a major network making millions lol if he wants. Or he’ll go raise his boys

Front office / media.

You don't see many former big money QBs go into coaching for the NFL. CRAZY hours and not a lot of pay unless you're a coordinator or head coach.

Hes the perfect face for TV. Give it a few years he will be on one of these pregame shows. Would not be surprised if he got into commentating but he might be a little too boring for that.

According to SI.com’s Albert Breer, there are some NFL scouts who think Colts veteran quarterback Matt Ryan’s arm strength is shot:

“I can say, after asking around, that there are scouts who think Matt Ryan’s arm is shot,” writes Breer. “And it definitely looks like he has to work harder to get the ball where he wants it to go. That said, the Colts’ quarterback is fighting his tail off.”

So why did Reich keep trying to throw it 40-50+ times a game this year? Against the titans, JT was having his best game of the year and only got 10 carries.
