Hearing that the Falcons didnt even have him come into the facility to cut him face to face kinda shows Dimi was an *** in some type of way. I bet when that veteran purge happened in 2013, many of them had the same experience.

Yeah Dimitroff thought he was high class, but he was just an ****** with delusions of grandeur. That's not how you treat people who were a big part of your success no matter what business you're in.

I'm really happy to see him like this.

I remember those dark times he was talking about and I was worried about him and his life after football.

So glad to see he's doing well.

Might be time for the Ring of Honor.

Man I saw it first hand everyday. John and I lived in the same condo building in Atlantic station and I’d see him everyday sitting at the bar drunk af. We always talked and I got really worried when we passed each other on the street one day and he walked right past me and took about 5 steps then turned around and said what’s up. I watched him as he passed by like wow you looked right at me and didn’t say anything. He was drunk out of his mind.

To be honest I kinda get not bringing people back inside the facility to terminate them.

I think it's become part of corporate best practices a security measure, and it's why you see security follow people back to their desks/offices to clear them out, if you are allowed to clear out your workspace at all. With football players there's the added element of your employers being massive guys on steroids, engaged in a violet sport.

As fans, we see the camaraderie between coaches and players and want to believe that our hometown team is more than just a soulless corporation but as the NFL's decision with 17 games, overseas games, and resistance to expanding rosters demonstrate, the Shield's first and only priority is profit, and the players are just a means to that end.

A lot lol. Mostly his continued insistence in defending Deshaun Watson and calling the women money chasers. He might be right but you don't say it if you don't know the truth.

To be fair, most of these women are money chasers. Don't get mad at Roddy.

If it takes a Lawyer and a Lawsuit for you to come forward, there was a level of comfort in the situation.

By the way, don't hit me with the fear of the Big Bad Wolf after them.

Fontenot did the same thing to Kurt Benkert. Just part of the business. I get that Abraham meant a lot to the franchise, but I'm not concerned that they didn't have him come in to the office just to be shown the door. And I'm speaking as someone who has had the same thing happen - got a call on a Sunday evening years ago telling me that I didn't need to come in to work the following day.

You say to be fair, but that's not fair. At all. Roddy is ignorant in general and to the facts of the case, which he demonstrated several times during his tweeting. Helluva football player though.

Roddy is more than a Good Football Player. He's a Stand Up Guy. Maybe you know some of the ladies personally. That's the money we live in.

I don't know any of them and I don't presume to know anything about them, unlike what Roddy and others seem to. I'm sure Roddy knows Deshaun from his days as a ball boy and thinks he's a good guy and wants to defend him but at a certain point, he just needs to shut up because he doesn't know anything for a fact.

If corporations weren't treating their employees like dirt, maybe they wouldn't need to pay for security to accompany a terminated employee to get their belongings.

The NFL is a prime example of everything wrong with corporate America. The naked greed, the CTE cover-up, the price gouging for merch and tickets, parking, surrendering to gambling interests, etc. is obscene. I hope the NFLPA will continue to demand the max from  owners in terms of fair pay, medical insurance and what few termination benefits are paid to players.
