This should be De'Andre Hunter's game. He'll be matched up vs Jrue or Grayson Allen and should take advantage. He's gotta stop fouling 3pt shooters and rebound.

We've got to do a better job of boxing out, their guards and wings killed us with rebounds during the preseason games.

iIf the preseason holds to form, Clint will start off defending Giannis.

How Trae handles the defensive pressure from Carter - giving up the ball early on traps etc and being the Maestro will be big.

Portis has given us problems - How do we contain him. JJ and OO has to match his intensity and physicalilty.

Will OO get to defend Giannis?

Not sure if Trae is tired or what but some bad passing and ugly shots even with good looks. Everyone with some lazy passing and ball handling in that second quarter.

Some of that is being on the road. I heard from the radio station that the Bucks has favorable home stretch the beginning of this season. Must be nice not having to travel early.

The Bucks are playing Trae pretty much the same way they did for most of that playoff series and in the meetings since. They're playing a lot of drop and taking away the PnR. They want to make Trae force the action instead of gambling and giving him anything to exploit. I think it's an implicit indictment on Nate's inability as a coach to design an effective counter outside of Trae's individual brilliance.

I wouldn't really pin it on Capela. In most cases, it's an issue of poor/late defensive rotations by other guys. You don't really want Capela guarding guys 30 feet from the basket.

I'll take your word......as I'm doing something I never do...

Making assessments on highlights and stats....

Thanks man..
