Is Pitts a bust?

Set the rookie TE record for receiving yards, right?

He's still young and developing, and I think his numbers will take off once all the other pieces are in place. If Ridley is a Falcon next year (or we adequately replace him), the OL gets even marginally better, and we have QB figured out, I expect Pitts to start producing similar to guys like Travis Kelce.

I don't believe Mariota trusts himself to make the difficult throws that are necessary to get the ball to him, given the coverage he commands. It's frustrating, and I'm not letting Arthur Smith off the hook because he can definitely do better in that regard as well, but I'm just trying to be patient. Whether he proves to have been worth the #4 pick, not sure, but he's a tremendous asset who is still well ahead of schedule for a 2nd year TE, all things considered.

Please control yourself Hash. Just leave it alone.  As dumb as this is, it’s not your place to tell him.

but but but… just shut up son!

I got you.

How the **** could the dude who is second all time for receiving yards by a rookie tight end be considered a bust? What in the **** kind of question is that?
