Noticing not one Falcons player has been claimed in that Rapaport breakdown.  Interesting.  I saw that NO lost Ian Book to Philly.   Decent QB out of Notre Dame.  Would have been an awesome PS QB.

Book was downright terrible. Not quite as bad as Mond, but terrible none the less. He won't stick.

Dickerson is a hard-charging defensive linemen who may be better-suited to a role as a 3-4 end. He plays hard but may not have a natural position or scheme fit as a pro. His lack of pass rush will likely hurt his draft stock, but he has enough upper body strength and quality hand work to give him a shot as a replacement-level backup.
  • Very technically proficient
  • Comes out of stance with good pad level and fires into opponents with strong hands and explosive hips
  • Able to create early leverage point
  • Has upper body power to punch and extend in read-react technique
  • Locks into ball carrier early in the rep
  • Displays good upper body twitch at point of attack
  • Effective push/pull to rid himself of blockers
  • Plays every snap with very good effort
  • Hands rarely linger on opponent when he's tracking the runner
  • Has adequate closing burst down the line
  • High-cut and lacks typical girth in lower half for interior work
  • Below-average initial quickness
  • Unable to penetrate and disrupt
  • Slow to shed when blocker bodies him up in run game
  • Lacks anchor to hold firm at point of attack
  • Knocked off-balance if pad level gets too high
  • Body control is very average
  • Might benefit from additional mass and strength
  • Needs to be competitive in early phases of rep to hold up
  • Lacks impact production
  • Offers little to no pass rush value

I like him as a developmental player.  I watched some of his games in College, he had the intangibles. Now, he is no athlete, and that really was his knock.  Reminded me a bit of Wayne Peace (Man, I am showing my age with that one.)
