That's the weird thing, he has lost nothing on his stuff and has an ERA of almost 6. First innings are killing him. Once he locks in he's fine, but it's like he takes longer to loosen up. ATLBham
That 8 run inning was a thing of beauty. I went to shower when we were down 4-3, and it’s like 5 minutes later and we’re up 10-4. Couldn’t have asked for a better shower!

I'm calling 14 runs tomorrow... or 4-1 win...
Unknøwn
Braves are now within 5.5 of the Mets.
Unknøwn
NL East is red hot right now except NY. Braves have won 10 in a row, Phillies 9 in a row, Marlins 5 in a row and Nats 2 in a row. Mets are just 5-5 in the last 10. Nats are also 5-5, Marlins 7-3, Phillies 9-1, Braves 10-0. Miami is just 3 games under .500 now.

jidady
What's fascinating about the current lineup is that six of those players look like they'll be here for a while. You can add Dansby if we extend him, which I expect. I'm not including Ozuna, who we technically have through 2025, but I'm dubious that will happen. I suspect we'll trade him if he can regain trade value. Still, there's a decent chance that eight out of nine of these players comprise the same lineup in 2024. That's borderline unprecedented in modern baseball.
