Also 1 game over .500 against this stretch of "bad teams".

This makes 2 years running the Braves have been a average at best team in the regular season. If they miss the playoffs this year and Snit is retained then I really don't know.

I’ll always remember Snit for, well, being the manager when we won the World Series. I don’t really attribute it to him though. It’s a front office and players title for sure.

I’m ready for Chipper to take over.

Chipper isn't even allowed to be face to face with the players per league rules.

Theres no way they fire Snit this soon after a world championship. Also no way they fire him for mediocrity. Its gonna take something along the lines of the 9-28 start Fredi had before he got canned.

But anyone with half a brain knows that with the alleged talent there is at nearly every position that this offense is severely underperforming as a team in a situational sense. The strikeout numbers are mind blowing. Maybe start with a firing of the hitting coach to send a message. A new voice there could help.

I thought Chipper made it clear that he didn't want that job. Or maybe that was hitting coach.

He doesn't want either. When he accepted the part time job in 2018 he said as much. He said there was no amount of money that can make him manage. He also isn't interested in any full time coaching. He said he enjoys being home and not traveling all over the country all summer long. He said his dream job is being in the front office, he wants to be an assistant GM. He can help scout and build a roster while going home everyday.

Braves have called up RP Jesus Cruz and sent Tucker Davidson to AAA. Cruz has 1 game as a Cardinal as his MLB experience. He had a 2.84 ERA in Gwinnett this year.

Tyler Thornburg cleared waivers and was released.

Fitting. Makes sense that only Jesus himself could save this team now.
