That's not usually how it works it's usually the opposite. Especially with all the tape you can watch.

No, it's not. Hitters changing leagues always benefits pitchers.......just like new pitchers who are called up do well for awhile, because hitters don't know new pitchers tendencies. Then hitters figure them out, and they aren't as good. See Huascar Ynoa.

I knew yesterday the Marlins were gonna bean Acuna.  When Acuna came in and hit that double and showed his excitement, the camera flashed to Mattingly in the Marlins dug out with that grin that said " I'm gonna bean you and Snitka is gonna do ZERO about it."   This is my problem with Snitka.  And Chip up there claiming the ball got away when you could see clearly that the pitcher went after Acuna.

Will agree to disagree but there's been plenty of instances where matters have changed leads during the All Star break and got hot then cooled off.

Just like there's been plenty of instances where someone's called up got red hot then been terrible just like Riley when he 1st came up.

I don't give a crap if it was intentional or not it's always Ronnie that gets hit, it's a shame they don't have anybody worth a s*** for us to drill back.

Bingo.  Should have happened TWO years ago.

Oh I meant change positions in the rotation and pen

They seem to not want to put him in the rotation. Maybe that will change with Stephens emerging as a late inning guy.

I think they are more reluctant because Strider is a 2 pitch pitcher right now.

The latter part makes more sense. He’s gotta get more pitches I’d think

It's also about innings. In college Strider only made 10 starts. He was mainly a RP. The Braves just started developing him as a SP last year when he made 21 starts in the minors. 94 innings is the most he's ever thrown in his life.
