We simply lost it. There was no reason for us to lose this game. Kyle Wright was absolutely phenomenal and we had enough offense. Defense totally collapsed. falconsd56, Malachore, BamaBirdLady and 2 others

That’s the reason and really game one was ours to win too. This team needs a leader and it honestly very well be the young man Acuna. Joc even stated they lacked leadership when he got there.
Unknøwn
I think Ozzie is trying to be the vocal leader. By all accounts Acuna is not really that type of person. He'll lead by the way he plays but he isn't one to "police" things I guess you could say.

This team doesn’t need policing. It needs passion.

The Braves have always need someone like that, and unfortunately, we don't have a guy like that this year. AA needs to go get somebody like that. jidady
I'm still pretty annoyed about the past two games, and we won one of them. falconsd56 and Malachore

It would be one thing if the Braves just sucked......they don't. They just aren't playing to their ability and that is frustrating.

Last season's Opening Day roster had some holes in it but both teams just couldn't seem to figure it out early on. Hopefully this year they get it going quicker than last year, Mets are on a 100 win pace and haven't even had deGrom a single game yet. And they’re the Mets.. not really worried.

Yeah, there is the aspect of the fact that for a large portion of the year last year, the Mets had a good lead in the standings and played good baseball... untill they didn't. Still alot of baseball left but the braves do need to play more consistent.

While they may fall off the pace, they have a much better coaching staff now. Buck knows how to win in the regular season.
