Unknøwn
Bama OC Bill O'Brien is viewed as the likely hire for the now vacant New England OC job. O'Brien of course was the Patriots OC for a year after McDaniels left the first time. That OC stint led to his hire at Penn State.

Don't blame him.. there is a huge difference in the pros and college when it comes to recruiting. Kirby has a db coach who himself is having some issues with the term always be recruiting who is staying right now but not sure how long he lasts. Not everyone is willing to give up so much time to recruit.

Mr. Hoopah!
According to his statement, he's dealing with personal issues and stepping away from coaching altogether right now. I hope he successfully deals with whatever situation he is experiencing.

Unknøwn
The real question is what is happening at Miami. Mario is struggling to build a staff. He still doesn't have an OC or DC. His co-OC flipped to UGA.

Unknøwn
Vikings are sending a plane to get Harbaugh tomorrow. He'll be meeting with the Vikings hierarchy at their facilities. Expectations are he will be offered and he will accept tomorrow. Michigan insiders are saying the university is expecting to launch a HC search. The reports a few weeks ago were that Brady had little desire to return to college. Yeah he has been very open about having no desire to coach in college, primarily because of recruiting. He wants nothing to do with recruiting, he just wants to coach players. It's crazy how much work college coaches have to put in, not to mention time away from home. Some people are built for that, but 99.9% of people don't want that lifestyle even if big money comes with it.
Unknøwn
Harbaugh did not receive an offer and informed Michigan today that he will return for 2022. The meeting lasted 9 hours but at the end the Vikings decided Rams OC Kevin O'Connell is their guy. Harbaugh told the Michigan AD that he won't make this a common thing and will remain at Michigan until they fire him. We'll see.

Unknøwn
Arizona State DC Antonio Pierce resigned to pursue an NFL job. With all of the NCAA investigations going on at ASU for recruiting violations during covid it's a disaster there. Herm has lost half his staff to the investigation and finished with a terrible class yesterday. There's some rumblings that ASU may fire Herm over the violations.
