Malachore
7 teams are reportedly interested in Seiya Suzuki. Braves and Rangers are reportedly the 2 most interested. Any info on this guy? I never bothered because I figured Braves wouldn't push for him.

Has an excellent arm and will make all the basic plays. Not a gold glove defender bur capable. He has a solid eye, he walks more than he K's. Of course the Japanese zone is different but his discipline is one of his strongest features. He has power as well, his exit velocity is really high so he's really good at getting the barrel to the ball. He's a guy you plug in at 5 or 6, not a great runner but you want him up to drive in runs. youngbloodz, NashvilleFalcon01 and Malachore 2

K26dp
Somebody had to replace Edgar Santana, and Jay Jackson is that man. Amazing, we got a full year to look at Yoan Lopez, nurtured by one of the best pitching coaches in the minor leagues and then went... nah. Not looking good for Lopez's future. Jay was on a team with Seiya Suzuki a few years ago in Japan. Seems Jay liked him alot and they got along well as friends. So having a familiar face here might make the transition easier for Suzuki and might help him want to join the braves. If it lands you a really good player then the little change we are giving up for Jay is worth it and Jay might even be a solid middle relief piece in the end you never know. Semien's one of the unheralded superstars in the game right now. During his last two full seasons, he's had WAR of 9.3 and 7.8. No, it's the deadline that teams have to tender the players a contract or they become free agents.
