Passprotection
Thanks for taking the time with this @K26dp. Sounds like besides being Alex a great GM, he's an even better person and leader of the organization. Couldn't have worked out any better coming from John Coppolella and landing on a gold mine with Alex. JDFIII
Thank you for sharing. Someone in my family was a coach/birddog for many years with multiple teams. He Snitker are close, and he tells me Snit is thankful for AA. That speaks volumes about Alex, as Snit is a straight shooter. This is great insight. Passprotection
Speaking of John, he knew what he was doing with drafting - IMO has horrible personal skills (maybe undiagnosed condition). Wonder what he's up to these days? *Nevermind, looks like per his Linkedin he's now working for University of Florida. Was previously a "Senior Vice President of Personal Development." 😆😂🤣 https://www.linkedin.com/in/johncoppolella/ Edited March 22, 2022 by Passprotection
Unknøwn
Wonder how that goes in a job interview? So, my last job I got fired and banned from ever working in the industry ever again. falconsd56, ATL Fan in the DMV and K26dp
K26dp
Minter and Braves agree to 1 year, $2.2M. Word is that Riley did not agree to terms, they are probably headed toward a hearing.
Unknøwn
Apparently the Riley hearing will take place during the season with the odd offseason due to the lockout.

Yeah there has to be a better/less adversarial way of getting this done where folks don't leave with hard feelings.

K26dp
I'd go to Fried right now and offer a 4-year, $44M extension to buy out the rest of his arb years and 1 year of FA. Frontload the contract like they did with Olson, then he can hit the market at 32. 2022 $7M 2023 $10M 2024 $12M 2025 $15M dmite, ATL Fan in the DMV and Passprotection

Unknøwn
Hottest tickets in baseball according to Forbes? Atlanta Braves. They conqured the Yankees 3 season streak by 10%. It's a typical boost from winning a championship but it's bigger than the normal bump to finally take down the Yankees streak. For the A
The Braves have signed relievers R.J. Alanizand Brandon Brennan to minor league contracts, according to Chris Hilburn-Trenkle of Baseball America. Both right-handers picked up brief MLB action last season.
