Here's how the Braves looked the last time they were on the field for the World Series...

Gerald Williams LF

Brett Boone 2B

Chipper Jones 3B

Brian Jordan RF

Ryan Klesko 1B

Keith Lockhart DH

Eddie Perez C

Andruw Jones CF

Walt Weiss SS

SP John Smoltz

No wonder they only scored 8 runs that series.  There 3 1/2 hitters in that entire lineup

Andurw only hit .077 in that series. OF as a whole was a killer. BJ hit .077, Gerald hit .176. Boone led the way at .538, had the series of his life.

Named my son after Ryan Klesko. Loved that guy!

I wouldn't worry too much about Wright. He'll fill that role Dylan Lee had in the NLCS. Things not looking so great you can use him for a few innings and give the key guys a day to catch their breath

He could also be another opener candidate if Chavez has to be used early in the series.

Wright actually finished the season really strong with Gwinnett. He was the league ERA and strikeout leader, and in his final ten starts he had a 2.30 ERA and a .207/.257/.293 batting line against. If all goes well he won't be a factor at all, but if needed to provide bulk innings he should be more prepared to do that than Jacob Webb.

How does Houston hit right handed pitchers? And are they good breaking ball hitter

They hit everything well. They lead all of baseball in runs. They don't murder right-handers like the Dodgers though, but they also aren't as susceptible to left-handed pitching.

I really like the Wright move. Honestly, I'd prefer to send Wright out over Ynoa if we need to.

I just realized Ynoa is out of the season. Well, my point still stands if Ynoa was still healthy. Plus Wright had playoff experience. One stellar and another big yikes. But he still has experience. I like it.
