Similarly, when you re-watch the game's 8th inning, notice that Matzek looks at the sky after that strikeout. He was clearly thinking of somebody. That makes his movie-worthy comeback all the more remarkable. E. T.

CrimsonFalcon
Braves Instagram posted a video of Soler's blast from the Astros dugout angle. In the background, tons of orange towels were waving, and on impact they all disappeared almost simultaneously... it was great.

Bart2Ryan+beyond
Man I just gotta say I'm really happy for y'all. I've been a Falcons fan since 1980 (living in Canada) and my fav baseball team was the Expos and now it's the Blue Jays, but after being on these boards for at least a decade and reading the anguish about the Braves and the Bulldogs and other Atlanta/Georgia sports from all of you fellow Falcons fans, it just makes me feel real good that so many of you, that I've read your posts for so many years, get a chance to celebrate and savour a World Championship! Enjoy folks, you've definitely paid your sports dues! Unknøwn

Unknøwn
I dont know how probable it is but how amazing would it be to extend Freeman tonight or tomorrow. Announce it at the parade tomorrow that Freeman has signed a new deal. That would just be insanity. jidady

Unknøwn
Liberty released Financials. From July to September the Braves had $234M in revenue. That does not include the playoff run obviously.

Yep. He led the AL in HRS with KC. Hit 48 bombs with 117 RBI and .922 OPS. Hes capable of being a great hitter its just unlocking that on a consistent basis. The Cubs couldn't and KC only managed for 1 season. fuego

Eric Young Jr. seemed to help a lot with pitch recognition. That's why some of those were tape measure shots. He had a good idea of what was coming.
