Which is why I say if we can beat LA we can beat Houston. Scherzer, Buehler and Urias are better than anyone on Houston IMO.

I do think Houston bats are more than enough to go with their pitching to beat the Braves.  Its about who gets hot, but **** their bats have lots of playoff experience ,and Tucker and Alvarez are a **** good 1-2 punch, then you got Altuve,Correa, Bregman etc. not a lot of holes in their line up.

looks like we are going to likely see some high scoring games for sure.

FWIW

Im gonna downplay the Braves chances till well till they win LOL....but I **** sure hope they do. Its funny though Im not worried about Rosario, Pederson, Soler or even Duvall but it's Freddie, Albies and Riley if we can get 2 of 3 those hitting well, or even 1 of them going off, Id really like our chances. But the opposite of that is opposing teams are pitching tighter to those 3 and the rest of getting benefits from that.

Astros averaged 6.7 runs per game this post season far more than any other team. This is not gonna be a cake walk if we win.

Roberts told the media they have the mental edge. He said history is a strong thing and when they boarded the plane to Atlanta he feels they have the advantage mentally. Added they'll take advantage tonight and tomorrow

I wonder how the Sigmund Freud of the dugout is now planning to take mental advantage Sunday.

The Dodgers did it for Kobe Bryant last year. The Braves are doing it for Hank Aaron this year.

What the crap sense does Dodgers doing it for Kobe make? Never saw him suit up for them. So freaking tired of those self-important California freaks thinking LA is the center of the universe. Atlanta and Houston are the centers of the universe for the time being. Go home to your crappy city Dodgers!

Hopefully the hitters remain disciplined and don't try to hit everything that way. We shall see.

I’d rather see a steady stream of high velocity line drives smack off that wall than a few going over it, which would mean our hitting approach is rock solid. Don’t swing for the fences, just square up and swing through it.

So good to finally get the monkey off the back.

Excited for the WS, trying to figure out how we best match up with The DH available in Houston, do we start Fried in game 3 or is that getting too cute?

Of the three starters we have, I’d think we’d want Ian starting at home. Max is a good hitter though, and maybe we take advantage of that?

That was my thinking, pitching him at Hou nullifies the added value he brings.

Morton, Anderson, Fried, BP, Morton, Anderson, Fried

To me this makes sense:

Game 1 Max (So that he can hit in game 5)

game 2 Charlie (experience on the road AND in that building)

game 3 Ian (home protection)

game 4 bullpen (Ynoa/Smyly/Chavez cover the first six innings)

game 5 Max (hitting at home)

game 6 Charlie (in Houston again)

game 7 Ian (by default. Give the youngster a chance at immortality, OR an all hands on deck bullpen should he falter early)
