jeffro2000
Sweet, I certainly didn't want to see game 5. I know at this point, everyone has to take San Fran as real but I still rather face them than LA. I know we have hfa against the Dodgers but that lineup is stacked and even without 2 of the best pitchers in baseball, the rotation is still formidable. Unknøwn
It's going to be tough no matter if it's LA or SF but it would be nice to watch Games 1 and 2 before 9:37. youngbloodz

jeffro2000
I would love to see this team go all the way but getting to the NLCS is an accomplishment for them all things considered. Of course, we have seen teams get hot at the right time and ride it to a title, despite not being the league's best, so why not us? Ghosts of Glanville
Man watching that Brewers team reminded me so much of the late ‘90s Braves, especially the way they were tortured in this series. A dominant rotation and an inert offense is a bad combo in the postseason

They won the Central with 83 wins. They had to battle all through September and came in hot. Won the World Series

We were like two games under .500 at one All-Star Break, and I maintained that we should try to make a run. You never really know. Thinking about it makes me that much angrier with myself for calling for us to sell at the deadline. You really should only do that if you're totally out of it, which teams rarely are in baseball during the double-Wild Card era.

Brewers clinched early and rested, Braves didn't. Brewers just couldn't find their groove. Only avoided a sweep because of 1 hanger by Morton. jidady

stizz
I was here when they lost so have to return when they win and say when I was wrong. The MVP was the MVP. That's a game the team loses a few months ago. Incredible resilience from these guys. Malachore, ATL Fan in the DMV and TheTrue7

Yes, it was an extremely evenly matched series, but this is correct. On their side, the odds of Hader hanging a pitch in that situation were close to zero. Unknøwn
Morton will be ready to take Game 2 in the NLCS. He'll be on normal rest for it. The real question now is Game 4. You need another starter in a 7 game series. I dont think you can trust Ynoa. youngbloodz and ATL Fan in the DMV

I honestly don't think the roster will change much. You can't really trust Martin or RichRod at this point. Martin got knocked around all year and Rodriguez was throwing batting practice the last few weeks. I think what you had in the LDS is what you got in the LCS. Unless they want to swap Lee and Strider or some other arm. youngbloodz

Malachore
I would think a Game 4 started will probably be Smyly. There really isn't anyone else and even then it's a bullpen game. Hopfully we're up 3-0 at that point.
