Yep, I got one too. I guess he didn't like that I wasn't blowing fairy dust and instead stating an obvious observation without homer glasses on. And yes, I'm a braves fan only stating the obvious....lmao

Odds that you're the same person astroturfing are like 97%. Goodbye forever.

Man these late night games have killed me lol. Hate we got swept. Another bullpen piece and bring Acuña back and we will be able to contend with these guys

The braves contended with them all series.

The good bullpen pieces were just a little off.

Having an ump with a more even and consistent strike zone would make a difference too.

Yeah I'd  be lying if I told you I watched a single pitch of this series. Tonight is 8:40 so I'll get in some Rockies action.

MLB is all about the money.  All you have to do is to watch the strike zones when the Yankees and Dodgers play.  Last night was beyond absurd.  When you hear Frenchy & Chip get on them that much, you know it's bad...

MLB craves a Dodgers/Yankees WS every single year....

Played the Dodgers tough. Just couldn't get over the hump. On to Denver.

That's the problem. Braves played them tough in 2018, but couldn't get over the hump. Braves played them tough in 2020, but couldn't get over the hump. Played them tough this series, but just couldn't get over the hump. It's becoming old hat.

Looks like martin has lost a step. This bullpen needs some changes I think. We'll see but I'd go Smith 7th, Matzek- 8th, Rodriguez-9th. Luke can be 6th

Martin hasn't been lights out since they did the crack down. He already was a guy who wasn't overpowering to begin with but the crack down has made him even more hittable and when you allow as much contact as he does naturally some of those balls are gonna find holes and turn into hits and runs and here we are.

Some of you should feel free to look at other playoff team schedules and see that they’re not winning every series they play either. Feel free to look at LA’s month of July for example.

I don't expect the Braves to win every series, but they had late leads in games 2 and 3 of the series only to lose them and that's frustrating, especially when last night happened in large part thanks to a stupid move by Snit for a stupid reason.

I don't believe this is anywhere near accurate. Last night was one of the worst umpired games I've watched all season and was dramatically slanted in the Dodgers favor. 3 of the 4 runs happened after what should have been strikeouts.

That seems awfully generous.

I'm not going to justify pulling Matzek..

But if you go back and read this thread, it's like the past month didn't happen. So now it's back to doom and gloom because we've had a tough road series for the first time in a bit? Once again, look at other playoff contenders' schedules.. Everyone of them have extended periods of time when they aren't playing to their full potential. It happens. They're human after all.

Yup.

And the Braves just came off of a big series win at home against the team at the time had the best record in all of baseball.

The good thing is that the next stretch of games after the Rockies is more favorable.

Agreed. And folks are worried about the Phillies schedule but the Braves only really tough series left is 3 at San Francisco. Braves will be fine and win the division. No reason to believe differently.

Yep, doesn’t seem accurate at all.

And even then... The Giants seem to be coming back down to earth a bit.
