I think duvall and joc will be here next year.

Braves will probably pick one. We're going to have Drew Waters ready for next season regardless of what Pache does. Its all going to depend on what happens with Ozuna. You might have room for both if he goes but if he comes back then it gets a bit crowded. You'd have Acuna, Ozuna, Duvall, Waters, Pache and Joc. If they get rid of Ozuna then yeah I could definitely see both coming back if they want to return. Not sure how Joc and Duvall feel about splitting time though. They picked the Cubs/Marlins because they offered everyday jobs.

Yeah I think it will be crowded.

Having the DH would help a bit

With the DH and Ozuna gone then that would open it up.

We also don't know how Rosario will do either...bit if he returns to form then that will add something else to think about...which is a nice problem to have.

Joc Pederson's amazing improvement against lefties this year definitely gives him the inside track towards being one of the everyday starters for next year should the Braves decide he's worth the $10M option. I don't have any reason to believe Joc would decline it based on the fact that he wanted to sign with the Braves last winter.

I don’t consider a respiratory infection to be good news. I immediately think COVID.

Considering his experience last season I would imagine he's vaccinated and was already tested at first sign of any issues. Its probably just a normal infection
