I'll be happy if he hits .235-240 with 10-15 HR the rest of the year. Hes provided some runs and hes saved some in the OF. Thats who he was last season and everyone was mostly in agreement he had a good year.

They've set up two solid platoons if they want to use them. Rosario/Soler and Pederson/Duvall. Centerfield would still be a mess though.

Yeah, I'm wondering if Pache will get a look again in September. See if he can provide you something because you know his defense alone makes the pitching better.

Don't get me wrong, I would be good with that as well. Being that he's finished a year over .235 in 4 seasons over last 8 though, I'm not holding my breath.

He started slow but hes getting it going. He's 4 for 13 in August. He also finished July with a hit in 8 of the final 11 games. Hes getting there.

He’s been doing better. I don’t know the exact numbers, but they worked on his swing and it’s starting to pay off. Both Pache and Waters have looked better

Nice to hear

Someone also mentioned that Contreras has really hit well since going back down so I wonder if those 2 could inject even more to the offense late in the year.

But if Soler continues to hit and Duvall bumps his average up a bit and the incoming Rosario AND d'arnaud they may not be needed.

Thats the kicker. You can only add 2 players in September now. I have a suspicion itll be Contreras and Minter or some RP.

I'm still pumped about this win. For the guys to rebound after the way the game started. This was a 2018-2020 Braves type win. Snitker managed the game perfectly and the offense did their job, Duvall included. Braves don't win without Duvall's homerun. So glad to eat crow about him.

For all the heat I get on here (sometimes rightfully earned) I always own what I say when proven wrong. Figured that would earn me a certain level of respect around here but I guess not.

Has anyone looked at the upcoming Mets schedule? Beginning August 13th..

3 vs LAD

3 at SF

4 at LAD

3 vs SF

Now that's a brutal run. The Mets could easily be looking at a 4-9 stretch.

Yep. It was all over Twitter that it’s now or never for the Braves.
