Why is Snitker using Rodriguez and Smith up 7 runs? I just don't get it.

I kind of understand Rodriguez. Get him to have his debut in a low stress environment to hopefully take away some of the first game in a new home jitters.

Would have rather not used Smith, but oh well

Now that we FINALLY have proof of life on Travis D'Arnaud, I like our potential lineup quite a bit better. I know that our entire outfield is feast or famine to the point that they could strike out 10 times in a game.

Even so, with Dansby and Riley hot and Freddie being MVP-like again, I could legitimately see us going on a streak. We've averaged 4.78 runs a game. This lineup looks like it should hover around 5.5 the rest of the way.

BTW, as I type this, we're the only NL East team with a positive run differential. The worst part is that we're at +50. The last place Marlins are closest at 0 followed by the Mets at -1.

I swear to you that Atlanta somehow has the fifth-best run differential in the NL...and the Marlins are sixth at 0. What a strange season we're all having in the NL.

We can't expect this every night but as some pointed pure.....the lineup had a lot of great at bats (both last night and tonight) against some good pitchers.

If they keep up the approach then they can wreck some teams.

When you have a guy with 20 homers and a what .780 ops batting 7th.....that can be a fun lineup.

It is just a shame that Touki picked a bad time to have the worst start for a starter in a couple weeks.

The 2 20 run games had something to do with it lol. Even without those we are still ahead of every other division team though
