Former Falcons QB Coach Greg Knapp Hit by Car While Biking - Updated/RIP Coach

Recommended Posts

Truly heartbreaking to hear stories like this. Doesn't even matter to me that he had some degree of fame or association with the Falcons.  Knowing it might have been due to someone else's thoughtlessness makes it worse.  But either way it reminds us of how fragile life is.

I bike everyday usually back and forth to work which is about 4.5 miles. I've got myself down to less than 20 mins on the ride. Woo hoo!

This is a great time to bike. Cities have done a great job changing roads to be more bike friendly. Unfortunately drivers are just so distracted. I spend most of my rides watching them.

That is actually kind of fast!  Heck of a lot faster than me that's for sure.

Yeah I'm proud of myself. It's the traffic lights that slow me down. I was stuck at one for 3 mins today and threw me off my pace. Especially since its Friday and I wanted to get ****** up.

Sorry BF. Respect given to your post, but death doesn't have to be a look back on ineptitude whether that be Vick or Coach Knapp or the fans.  I respected him a great deal and I didn't like some of his concepts but the line is blurred for those who realize he was a human and those who love a game.   Make no mistake he was a good coach and better person.

The heck with it. Love your Fred G Sandford avatar by the way.

Lmao.  If my dad was a little lighter he'd be twins with Redd Foxx. Same mannerisms and grumpy wisdom. Funny dude and I miss him.  But you're right...the heck with it.

My friend's dad had this exact same thing happen. He lived but hes in a wheelchair for the time being, had to be airlifted and everything. Of course the offending party drove off and never got busted.

of course they didnt..its a woman here in the town i live in that killed a man a few months ago and they just got her the other day..another *** hole off the streets its crazy how you can do that just leave a person hurt or dying because you didnt do what you were suppose to do and pay attention to the road.
