Eduardo Rodriguez vs Tucker Davidson

Wednesday, 7:20

Garrett Richards vs Ian Anderson

Rodriguez has an ERA of 8.49 in his last 6 starts. Richards gave up 3 runs in 5.2 innings in a loss to the Braves at Fenway earlier this year. Morton dominated that day against Richards with 7 innings, 1 run. Anderson did not face Boston in the first meeting.  Boston is one of the best road teams in MLB at 20-10 so far away from Fenway.

Anyone out of market can catch Wednesday's game on ESPN.

If Soroka is healthy and Ynoa comes back to form then that is like acquiring 2 starters at the trade deadline.

That still doesn't solve the offensive problems and neither does d'Arnaud considering he wasn't hitting before he got hurt and expecting him to return and immediately hit like he did last year is a pipe dream.

No it does not solve the offensive problems....the Braves still need another legit starting everyday outfielder..

But it does potentially help with the pitching depth.

It would allow Smyly to go to the pen where imo he would be of better use.

We could send Smyly to he pen right now if we wanted to considering how Wilson has done his last couple of starts and that Davidson has been amazing in his 3 starts. We should have both of them in the rotation right now.

Would be nice to beat them twice honestly. This is a very important stretch of games we have coming up.

Tough stretch coming up. Boston and STL at home and then on the road to the Mets and Cincy who is now an above .500 club themselves. They do come home and play the Mets again. So a lot of games against NY coming up.

The Cardinals have been playing like crap lately (2-11 in their last 13) so be prepared for them to sweep the Braves.
