You guys make jokes about guys like this but you  wouldn't be laughing if we signed Shaq Barrett from the Broncos.  Barrett was a UDFA, spent 4 years with the Broncos and now he is the most deadly pass rusher in the game.  These players do exist.

I hinted at this in my previous comment, but people coming from Denver I'm more concerned with their beer knowledge.

I agree with your general point but Barrett is not the best passrusher in the league.

The Buck was a pass rushing specialist that often stood up as opposed to lining up in a three point stance (vs. our Marlon Davidson who was the traditional defensive end on the opposite side of the d-line and had his fingers in the dirt).

He looked much bigger than his 6'2" 249 lbs frame.  Produced, especially his junior year, after which he declared for the draft.  I think NFL teams have tried to play him at 4-3 OLB, which is why he hasn't stuck around.  Even though he's not big by NFL means, he's more of a pass rusher.

Not too impressed with the video. First 3 sacks were free rushes, next 2 were clean up sacks after the QB was flushed out of the pocket last 2 were decent showed decent speed and bend

Yeah after winning the sack title and then wrecking havoc for a super bowl ring, I would put him right up there.

First we had "process," then we encountered "brotherhood." Now, we are becoming one with "versatility." My guess Jeff Holland must be versatile?

I didn’t mind “process” because everything IS a process. The process was derailed by Blank after the playoff drilling by the Packers.

Brotherhood? I don’t want my head coach talking about a brotherhood. If it’s something amongst the players that’s fine. Coaches don’t need to be buddies with players. Pete Carroll is a beloved coach by coaching hard and expecting results. When he gets the success then the respect comes.

Agreed.  Process is an adherence to your beliefs.  Usually folks with process have confidence in it.  I like versatile as well, because injuries happen and the best players usually can play multiple positions.
